In his most recent post, Kevin Adams discusses the concept of faith, and what it is it looks like when lived out. This is a question I find myself asking often. Towards the end of his post, Adams says, “My purpose as a teacher is to help shift our culture from one of radical striving to be better Christians, to one of radical intimacy with a better-than-we-can-imagine Father. ”
To me, this means, that instead of walking with God and following him by seeking his presences, we Christians think faith is going out on our own to try to live for him. I think we have this mindset, because we don’t know what trusting God really looks like. For us it sometimes seems as if we aren’t doing anything.
